Es soll eine herausragende Master- oder Doktorarbeit, die an der Universität Hohenheim im Preisverleihungszeitraum (den letzten 12 Monaten) zu diesem Themenfeld geschrieben wurde, ausgezeichnet werden.

The award is intended to recognize an outstanding master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation on this topic that was written at the University of Hohenheim during the award period (the past 12 months).

Kriterien/Criteria:

Kriterien für die Beurteilung sind insbesondere die innovative Forschungsidee und deren erfolgreiche methodische Umsetzung, der Anwendungsbezug mit klar definierten und realitätsnahen Handlungsoptionen und die Form der Präsentation.

The evaluation criteria include, in particular, the innovative research concept and its successful methodological implementation, the practical relevance with clearly defined and realistic options for action, and the form of the presentation.

Auswahlverfahren:

Die Ermittlung der der Preisträger erfolgt auf Grundlage der o.g. Kriterien und des eingereichten Gutachtens. Daraus werden die (bis zu) zwei besten Arbeiten ermittelt, aus denen der Präsident der Stiftung die Preisträger ernennt.
Einreichung der Bewerbung mit Anschreiben des Kandidaten (1 Seite), Kurzgutachten betreuende Person (Formular) sowie PDF der Arbeit bis 01. Mai 2026 bitte an das Institut für Tropische Agrarwissenschaften (Frau Zipp).

The winners will be selected based on the criteria listed above and the submitted evaluation. From these, the (up to) two best papers will be identified, and the president of the foundation will then select the winners.
Please submit the application, including a cover letter from the candidate (1 page), a brief evaluation by the supervisor (form), and a PDF of the thesis, by May 1, 2026, to the Institute of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (Ms. Zipp).
